Hey folks, I really appreciate all the recommendations and word-of-mouth traffic which enabled me to create over 20 websites since I started doing Squarespace as my side-hustle in 2016. It was so exciting to help people take their dreams into reality whether it was a brochure, sales, promotion, or a blog. It truly was a pleasure to work with each of you.
However, times are crazy in the Lemmons household these days. I've recently landed an absolutely fantastic new job with Planning Center as the Product Manager of their Resources application. We have three kids now, ages 5, 3, and 8 mo. and frankly I just don't have the time to work on side project websites while giving you the level of customer service you deserve. Any ongoing support or update agreements will be closed up soon as well, I'll be reaching out to you guys to make sure you know what's coming.
While I'm going to be focusing the bulk of my time on being a husband, dad, and the best PM I can be, I'll also be pursuing my lifelong dream of video game development. I've got three ideas I am going to pursue, each one staged to be a more difficult endeavor than it's predecessor in an attempt to teach me the foundational principles before I jump into something crazy.
Most developers document their progress through a blog and/or twitter not only to track their own progress and network with the community but also as a tool for other developers to learn from. I really commend the concept of tracking your milestones while also keeping your work open sourced to help the greater good.
That said, this website will be undergoing some changes soon. It's going to shift from being my personal side business to my game dev blog. It likely won't be updated very often, but much like how this blog documented my thoughts and milestones and was rather therapeutic for me, the new iteration will be more of the same - just more gaming-centric.
Again, thanks for the opportunity to work with each of you!
